Self & Others, a London-based crystal wellness brand blending the science of gemmology with the magic of healing, commissioned CONSCIOUS MADE to design a Certificate of Authenticity to accompany their premium crystal offerings. The brief was to create a tactile brand touchpoint that reflected both the integrity of sourcing and the beauty of the product, while enhancing the unboxing experience for mindful consumers.

Printed on luxury textured paper and elevated with glossy black foil detailing, the certificate was designed as more than proof of authenticity — it became a keepsake in its own right. By combining elegance with material honesty, the piece reinforced Self & Others’ values of transparency, ritual, and conscious design, deepening the emotional connection between customer and crystal.

After collaborating on the brand refresh, Candice Hamilton from @selfandothers.co reached out to me to design a #Certificate of #Authenticity for customers purchasing their more premium, high-end crystals.

Self & Others is a crystal and wellness company based in London, where the science of gemmology meets the magic of crystal healing – designed to enhance everyday intentions (and I cannot disagree, they certainly do!).

The first part of the design process for me is always choosing the #materials. Specifying the best #foils and #papers to match with brands, and products.

The first layer of foil was a crisp gloss black. The second layer was printed directly on top in a transparent #holographic foil. The translucency of the holographic foil added depth and character without detracting for the details printed in black.

For this particular piece it was important to keep a clean minimal brand design, whilst adding an extra layer of luxury. A perfect example of how with the right materials and print finishes you can elevate a design into an impactful piece of print.
