WithPrint x GF Smith

Commissioned by WithPrint in 2018, CONSCIOUS MADE was invited to create a calendar that would celebrate the craft of print while inspiring leading design and branding agencies to “Fall in Love WithPrint.” Collaborating with GF Smith, we specified responsibly sourced luxury papers and elevated them with techniques such as hot foil stamping, fluorescent and white inks, duplexing, and stickers.

Each month combined colourful illustrations with playful copywriting that wove the name WithPrint into national holiday–inspired taglines. The result was a vibrant and functional calendar that brought energy and creativity to studio desks all year round, while demonstrating the tactile possibilities of print as both a tool of communication and a source of joy.

“Exploring the GF Smith paper swatchbook and experimenting with Foilco foils was where the project came alive for me. It’s the part of the process where I lose all sense of time, relying on touch to feel my way through textures and letting the material speak for itself. The work felt playful yet precise — from crafting copy lines to pairing them with a CMF (Colour, Material, Finish) approach to bring the taglines to life.”
